Oh my word. I have SO much to say about last night ✨. What an INCREDIBLE, out of this world, what dreams are made of night 💫🌟. So many amazing, extremely inspiring people filled the Anglian Cathedral in Liverpool. Just to be nominated is an honour but to be shortlisted down to so few out of 24,000 nominees is just is beyond words AMAZING. The lovely Rachel Jury won in my category and the award could not have gone to a more lovely lady. Everyone was a winner in so many ways and I’ve come away with more fire 🔥 than ever in my belly to keep achieving & believing in my dreams and working on being the best person I can possibly be. My mind has been whirling with ideas and inspiration following last night’s event. I am excited for the future and can’t wait to get stuck in! Continuing to make a difference & leave my footprints 👣 on the Earth 🌏. Thank you to Paul Sesay the CEO of the Diversity Awards for making us all feel like winners, putting on a show like no other and pumping us with motivation. Another HUGE thank you must go out to my family & friends for their ongoing love and support. My readers & followers for being a part of my journey and the Lyme Disease community who are like my second family 💚💚 I love you all so much. The team at @invisiyouth for their support and love, the team at Chorley FM - I could go on!! I am so blessed to have so many amazing people & a strong support system and from the bottom of my heart I am beyond grateful! And count my lucky stars ⭐️ everyday. I hope to keep doing you all proud. To be proof that we can always see the positives and live our dreams! THANK YOU! Can’t believe it’s 24 hours until the @ndawards 🙌🏼💋 I seriously can’t wait for an incredible evening. To be surrounded by inspiring and true heroes just leaves me speechless. 💕 I have made it my mission to spread awareness about Lyme Disease but also offer support and love to all who are battling with chronic diseases. It is easy to allow the negatives to overshadow the light and we must be strong enough to find light in every dark place that life may present us with. There are days when this is so incredibly hard but just by putting a smile on your face and spreading kindness💜 you help and inspire others to do the same. We find strength we never believed we had and courage we didn’t know we had burning inside. Everyday I spend hours writing emails and letters back to people who have kindly taken the time and effort to write to me. Nothing brings me more joy when I hear that people who have been bedridden or felt like giving up have seen me as inspiration and begun living a life they deserve. Pushing themselves out of their comfort zones, facing fears and enjoying themselves. Often I feel my pain is more than justified if I can protect and save others from the pain I am feeling. My illness has made me passionate about helping people & shown me my purpose to leave my footprints 👣 in the Earth’s soil ✨. This is just the beginning for me. My future often feels daunting but I know I will always battle through and make the best of it. Laughing 😝 and gaining strength along the road. I have SO many dreams and goals for the future & I am determined to keep dancing in the rain ☔️ 💃🏼 inspiring others to do the same and be grateful for the gift 💝 of life. The loved ones we share the cherish moments with, the adventures we enjoy and the dreams we create ✨💋🌈 whether it’s in a wheelchair or clinging to an arm to hold me up ☝🏼🤞🏼 I won’t allow any wall or hurdle to discourage & frighten me. Slowing making a difference in the world 🌎 Thank you for all the support & my love always xo #ndawards#girl#speech#mission#lymedisease#diversityawards#inspire#fighter#footprints#world#goal#dreams#raiseawareness#makeadifference
I was lucky 🍀 enough to have a fabulous morning this morning at Beyond Radio HQ. Thank you to the whole Beyond Radio team for being so supportive about my work, achievements and helping me raise awareness. WOW well I have to say it was a bit of a shock to see such a HUGE picture of my face on page 16 of the Lancashire Evening Post 🤣📰this morning 😮. But thank you so much Aasma & the Lancashire Evening Post for such an amazing write up. So very grateful. All about the challenges I have faced, my mission to be positive and raise as much awareness as possible. Explaining the prestigious Diversity Award this coming Friday where I have been shortlisted out for 24,000 down to the final 6. I just can’t wait - massive names will be attending and it’s just going to be such an incredible evening been surrounded by such inspiring and AMAZING people. It’s going to be a MAGICAL night and my word I am so thankful to be able to be a part of it. Beyond words EXCITED 😆! This is event is what dreams are made of✨💜. Take a read 🙌🏼. Roll on a fab week! ☝🏼📰💃🏼 we hit Japan 🇯🇵 🎬 tomorrow & I will be on Beyond Radio 📻 in Lancaster on Wednesday morning 10-11am talking about Lyme Disease 💚. #lancashireeveningpost#newspaper#lymedisease#lymediseaseawareness#diversityawards#rolemodel#beyondradio#girl#chronicillness#mission#news
Such a fabulous morning being on air alongside Eric 🎧. We played the hottest tracks, fresh out & some classics ( a bit of Queen)💃🏼. We had lots of banter over the morning’s Brainteaser & got all the over presenters involved 😂. I can’t wait to co-host with Simon on the 21st & 28th which is the Chorley Live event 🙌🏼 in the town centre 🎙. Before starting my own show, once fully confident. So much to learn but loving every second. And CAN’T wait for the future 🎧🎙 it’s going to be a mad few weeks with media work, radio 📻 & awards nights 💃🏼. Buzzing. I hope 🤞🏼 I inspire all to chase your dreams ✨ & that hard work , determination and motivation are so very powerful. No hurdle is too high to jump over. You can do anything if you believe in yourself. Without my illness, I wouldn’t have gained the strength I have, been offered the opportunities and experiences I have an become the person I am. 💖 I never believed my life would be the way it is but right now, I am so grateful- beyond words. I deal with so much pain and my life is FAR from straightforward but if you add a touch of glitter ✨ it really is amazing how much it can sparkle & you make the best life possible for yourself. So grateful! Forever ✨💋 #radio#media#work#girl#studio#morningshow#wakeup#life#moments#makingadifference
So this is super exciting. It was a pleasure working with Iona the editor on Arthritis Digest. After seeing my story in the Daily Mail she wanted to raise awareness and understanding about how Lyme Disease affects & attacks the joints. Which can go on to trigger serious arthritis. I never thought she would be kind enough to feature me on the front page, so feeling very honoured & grateful. I will attach all the links below and to my blog shortly for you all to take a sneaky look. Thank you Iona for being a pleasure to work with & I hope we raise a lot of awareness & understanding. #arthritis#arthritisdigest#lymedisease#lymediseaseawareness#awareness#magazine#frontpage#read#media#help#people 💚💫

Thank you to all my family for your on-going support, through the rubbish and the amazing days - it’s one hell of a rollercoaster ride!
Thank you to my angel and soul sister Sophie Kenny, for travelling over an hour to make the evening and Jacob Leeson for making the night full of laughs as always.
Thank you to EVERYONE who came out in support of charities so dear to my heart 💓
Thank you Murder After Dark, for an amazing performance & Wyrebank for top service & food.
The biggest thank you though of course has to go to Mamager - Julie Ward what an angel 😇 she ( as always ) made the evening the success that it was. She is my hero, my cheerleader in life and my best friend. I simply couldn’t live without her!! She is such a diamond 💎 and is so very special. THANK YOU.
Love you !
