American Goldfinch. Looking like wild canaries in their spring/summer yellow mating colors, in the fall they are still lovely and fun to watch. They are primarily seed eaters and will hold still for a photo unlike some of our other feathered friends
Forgetting, for even a moment, is a gift. Forgetting the discomfort, the pain, the problem. Forgetting to try to figure it out, work it out, or sort it out. Forgetting to try to get ahead or get it together. Forgetting to fix, manage, or mend. Forgetting even the person who needs healing, that one who wants answers, this weary one who seeks. Forgetting, for even a moment, is a gift, for forgetting is actually a remembrance. A remembrance that nothing is broken, that nothing actually needs to be figured out or fixed, that rest is available in the here-now exactly as it is and exactly as we are. X
Earth dances in flowers...🍃
"She dances to the songs
in her head.
Speaks with the rhythm
of her heart.
And loves from the depths
of her soul."
Lush green and pretty Tufted Vetch blossoms in the middle, almost like orchestrating the whole thing! Beautiful Yarrows and Horsetails around supporting its way up towards the sunlight. Earth really laughs, sings and dances in wildflowers...!🌸A sweet memory of one beautiful summer day💚
Wish you all a beautiful day!🍃
We are the convergence point of all of creation. The place where life lives. The space that beauty pulses through. The edge of the ancestors dreams. The energetic point where medicine moves towards. The eyes and ears of creations purpose. The bridge for all directions, all people, all nations, all perspectives to walk upon. It is this exact moment where action is so real it can propel us into any dream dreamt. As you wake today. Remember, through your body, spirit moves. Your growth represents the healing of those who came before you and those who are coming next. The gift of life. Whatever your path in this life, walk upon it with the intent to remember just how special you are. Just how important. Just how much purpose you have. Walk upon it with intent to be love in conscious communion with creation. It’s not just another day. Today is the mystery of life dancing you. It is through you, that life sparkles. ✨🌿 .
Morning reminders for self 🖤
Excelsior, Stan Lee. Thanks for jumpstarting my imagination, and for sharing your family, the Marvel Family, with us.
Jack and Steve are waiting for you, pencil and paper at the ready. Go make more magic. You've earned it.
This. Is. It.
Rebuilding my spiritual practice after being broken open is a journey I’m investing myself whole heartedly in.
Our reactions show us where we still need to do the work.
We can stop ourselves, take a deep breath and say “ah yes. This. This is emotional programming.” And then ask:
“What is my soul asking for? What needs to be tended to here?”
It’s never about them.
They can’t make you feel anything.
What is your spirit trying to tell you in your moments of emotional reaction?
Let your practice do the work.
I left this jar in a street near my home. On the paper I typed some lines from Byron...she walks in beauty like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies...many moons ago in a different world @grant_gillespie gave me this verse beautifully written in his calligraphy sloping script in dark blue ink. I wanted to release these words back into the world again. A day later I returned to the spot. The jar was still there but the poem was gone. Sheer magic. Who has that paper? A world of wonderful mystery. Am now wondering who this week's poet shall be. Any suggestions most welcome.

Day 313, 2018| What ever your walk in life is - walk in beauty. Be curious. Be compassionate. Be true. Have an open heart and mind. Be present. And enjoy every step. Even the ones that might feel uncomfortable or scary. Every step count. #abundantlife#blessedlife#gratitude#walkinbeauty#365daysofinspiration Photo 📷 from 2017 by @sasa880421 @sannasandbergfotoochfrilans
"The poetry of earth is never dead.🍃" ~John Keats
During summer times the nature is so breathtakingly beautiful and full of colours that sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming to me...
But when the summer turns into Autumn, I just love that time more and more every year! Suddenly the hastiness of summer is slowly getting down...You can notice the shift within you when its happening...There is more space and time to just listen the silence and the poetry of the beautiful nature. Autumn feels like Sundays everyday!!😊🙌
Happy Sunday to you all my friends🍃
Recently my life has been turning upside down, that even finding the right way up to stand on my feet seems unbearably difficult. I had loads of #help that I couldn’t even say how #grateful I am, so although all seems still disorienting I have people I can lean my back on, offering hands that keep passing me #abundance of help. Of course, my life being upside down still feel like s*** most of the time but I guess if the new way up is like this, I better back to care of myself and ‘get on with it’, as @brianbodyworkyoga said. And focus on what is your ‘breakthrough’ as @jambodragon said. I might still disoriented sometime but at least I can feel this is time for going back to care myself before and while caring for others. .
If anything I learned from yoga and bodywork, the way to inhale is by properly exhale. The way to receive is by emptying the glass. The way to go, is first by releasing the tension.
So if you are in the same stage as me, don’t loose hope. Everyone facing their own mountain to climb, not everyone shows it how hard they try, how much they give their best. The best way to support others that you know or you don’t know, is by keep giving #kindness . Because a simple smile sometime can turn one life around and give a breeze to ease their #heart . Happy #Saturn day
#tadasana#mountainpose#jayashivashambo to my sister by choice FireTree @veggievixen8, thank you for introducing me to the song.
My old friend Lion came to visit me yesterday, reminding me of what it means to have the heart and the courage of a lion. So much is going on in the world right now and I've been picking up on all that is happening; people's frustrations over old energy politics, fear and loss with out-of-control wild fires, children and animals that are missing and much more...But I also picked up the huge vibrational shift that is occurring at the same time, big shifts are happening, new paths are being created, higher love and movements that take my breath away are being shown.
I feel it all and I breathe through it all. Lion is reminding me once again that the choice is always ours..and I know what I'm choosing. Tomorrow is11/11, a new potential of stepping up- and through the next portal with LOVE!
Scary #backbends are pathways for me. Going to the borders of my own imagination
Opening myself fully and truly for love
To allow myself to nourish myself with true love for myself, as only if I can accept my own self fully with all the parts of me, the wounded parts, that are barren like a desert, nobody says to the Sahara:
Be different, don’t be such a desert...
Like this I accept all my parts, also those parts, where my heart seems cold like the Antarctic. I accept all those parts...
I accept all my lush flowering parts, feeling my own juiciness and being able to celebrate all, just how it is...
Every breath by breath
Nature connection is culture repair 🍁 An arrow to the heart from @morningaltars was when he offered the idea that the etymological roots of aesthetic are to perceive and be concerned with beauty. An anesthetic is something that takes us from beauty 🍁 To invite beauty into our lives is to hone a skill of sensitivity, humanity, empathy 🍁 How can you take time today to prioritize wandering, moments of beauty, and finding a sensory connection to the more-than-human world? 🍁 And check out Day’s beautiful new book, Mornong Altars, and the offerings of these extraordinary women I got to share heart and soul-filled time with 🍁
So happy to share this piece finally. It’s apart of a installation currently up at ASU west Campus. Always honored to create and share space with my talented dad @randykemp.artist
The exhibit will be up through DEC 10th. Go check it out and see some handmade ray-guns by my pops too! ✨🌱✨ The piece:
Hammered Brass, Elk hide, Mother of Pearl, faceted rutilated quartz, black Spinel and czech beads. Red corn kernels, wild rice, basil seedling and soil. "Indigenous Futurism" is an art exhibit on the theme of creating works of art by re-adapting and repurposing new and old technologies through found objects and mixed media materials. The works by Randy Kemp and Rykelle Kemp aim to connect our future with the past by celebrating our cultural sustainability.
