Under an orange sun, some days are blue...
In Norway, you can find beautiful homes topped with lush green roofs.
Sod is a reasonably efficient insulator in a cold climate. And, the birch bark underneath ensures that the roof will be waterproof.
Is it something Nordic or you’ve seen it in other countries too?
Last weekend I brought my two great friends on their first camping trip in the wild (in theory it was Maria's second trip, but the first in a tent)! They were naturals! I think it is a shame how this camping culture has become either full bushcraft or you have to hike 236283628 miles and climb 48 peaks before you can call it a hike. It means people who have never camped before think it is difficult to do! And really, it is only a matter of bringing a pop up shelter and some food and have a nice time! Its not difficult at all! That's the kind of outdoor stuff I am all about! #utnorge#utno#mittfriluftsliv#nordmarka
