After a little over a month on the road, we followed our hearts' desired to settle down for a little while (and make some money, of course. this life aint free ;)). This wonderful little city was by far our favorite when we passed through nearly a month ago (and I had thought we would end up on the coast....#mountainwoman ). We came, low on resources, and trusted Mama to provide. The morning after we arrived, I got a job. Charlie found one a couple of days later. And we found a home with a great roommate by the end of the week.
Not everybody can jump off the edge like we did, but the moral of the story is...Life, the Universe, God, whichever you name it, has your back, and so do the people who love you. It's just up to you to let go of your control in order to receive the abundance.
I am so grateful to have seen so many BEAUTIFUL places and learn so much about myself, my partner, our travel style, and the world at large. And I am STOKED to explore this sweet city, hang up my hat for a while, continue creating a routine that fosters growth, and try some more things I've talked about for some time now.

Hikkaduwa - Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 The tranquility of the sun setting on the beach amongst the beautiful sound of the waves is something that can't be beaten. It's been a long year and the toughest of my short life. Being out here has made me realise I needed this time away more than I even thought. Only thing missing now to make this perfect is my amazing wife @aamiinahxox . Looking forward to getting back and enjoying the blessings the rest of this year has to offer insha'Allah.
But for now, let me get a tan on 🤟 #srilanka#beach#sunset
