This is the beach that's a 5 minute walk from where I live - it's lush, and living here means so much to me. I'm an outdoorsy person, and feel trapped if I'm in a city for too long! I've been at a festival down in Cornwall this weekend (Boardmasters - #feeling16again ) and there were quite a few displays about reminding us about plastic pollution in the sea, whilst selling thousands of plastic drinks bottles and ponchos... I know there was no real way round it, but it was a stark reminder about how we are all responsible for playing our own part in being environmentally responsible! I don't want to be preachy - trust me, I have a long old way to go! - but everytime we remember to take our own water bottle instead of buying a plastic one, or bother to put something in to the correct recycling bin, it does actually add up and make a tiny bit of difference! How do you manage to make a little bit of a difference each day? This is an awesome world, we just need to all take a bit of responsibilty for keeping it that way! 🌍🌎🌏
It has been a great weekend in Hamburg where Partner Pold = @ppold has been working all weekend, together with our German agent @besonderk . We have got several new customers, and the overall conclusion is that Germans both like sustainable production and good qualities – we are very grateful.
I have been in Copenhagen preparing for Formland. The last samples has arrived - the catalogs are printed - huge banners have arrived and everything plus a little extra must be squeezed into My small car tomorrow when we go to exhibit at @formland_official
Lovely and skilled @f_lindegaard and I will set up the stand - and I'm really looking forward to join. To meet existing and new customers and to see our colleagues in the industry :-). After Formland I have my summer holiday, the weather is probably not as good as in July, but at that time I have delivered (almost) everything for the fairs, and the sales department takes over.
After two weeks Pernille and I go to Paris and work shoulder by shoulder in the city of light. In October we go to Kathmandu and visit our production partners and check old and start new projects.
It's great to be a team, and it's super nice and meaningful that we actually make a difference for people less fortunated than us.
Wishing you a great day!

This used to be a full length sleeve button up shirt. Now it’s been cut up and stitched back together to make roughly a metre of fabric to be made into a new garment.
The teeny tiny scraps then get sewn end to end to make a long piece that’s used as yarn to create knitted textiles. .
Finally all the buttons and trims are cut off and stored away for future garments as well.
Did you know on average Australians throw away 6000 kilos of clothes every 10 minutes. Plus op shops are only able to take roughly less than 20% of what’s donated due to the sheer volume and poor quality of the clothes!!!
So the garments I create are made 100% from old clothes and fabric scraps in an effort to dramatically reduce that number. You can also shop that collection via the link in my bio @bethanyalice_fashiondesign
So are you guys conscious of where your clothes end up? What’s something you can do to also reduce that number?
When you guys help spread kind words about us we like to say thanks 🙏🏼 Check out our story to learn how you can earn €20 to spend on some fresh basics - super quick like 👏🏼 #organicbasics#basicallybettermade
Day 14 it's been 2 fuckin' weeks already!! The #KaronnUnfiltered#100DaysChallenge has taught me so much in so little time and I can't wait to share them with you... So stay tuned! 😊
The thing is, we're all
good at hiding.
Like last night, I hid
behind layers of insecurity.
The night before, I
hid in the closet of Not Enough.
Well today, today
I wanna wear my scars
out in the open.
This photo is far from being colour co-ordinated but everything in it will be listed this week . These eclectic vintage items include a cabbage patch kid, a cane basket that would be great to carry a dolly around in, a vintage Russ dog hand puppet, a handknitted dolls blanket, a wooden duck puzzle,a sugar jar, a tin container and THAT amazing cane shelf with three drawers. Sydney pick up or postage is available or possible delivery between Sydney and Merimbula pending location. Shout out to my 15 month old for being so patient with this haul today 👏 Ohh and I will also have 2 x 1960s prams available (not wooden) along with some other bits and bobs. If you have any questions DM me🌾
