Planning your trip to the #NC500 this winter? Keep an eye out for deer, red squirrels, seals, golden eagles and otters – otherwise known as the North Coast 500’s big five!.
You might also be lucky enough to see the attractive white-mountain hares and ptarmigans. Pine martins and red squirrels can be much easier to see through the winter foliage.
Thank you @jkdesign #wildlifewednesday
Welcome to Edzell! Our newest and yummiest addition to my wee retreat family: cozy, specious and full of character. Oh and just the way I love it - in the middle of nowhere!! (with WiFi- so don’t freak out!) and with a HOT TUB! We have a retreat here between 22-25 March so literally the perfect time for a wee escape to recharge your batteries. We have two cottages plus a purpose build yoga space. You really can’t miss this one. Share it with friends, family even enemies as I can always torture when with some serious abs. DM me for more info.
We’re headed back to Scotland in May (the kids are coming this time!) and I cannot be more excited, but also I’m not sure I have enough time to mentally prepare for international travel with a 4 and 6 year old. Send all the tips pls
Is there a better way to spend a cold rainy day?! the correct answer is NO! ⠀
We have a hot tub in Edzell and Coldingham and both are open for registration with early bird prices. On a day like today you really need this 💕
FACT: Jasper eats raw hearts for breakfast ♥️. Sound up 🔈 for 2nd video. This is what happens when you put an Aussie, a Swede, 2 Americans and a husky in a car to the Scottish grocery store after working on a horse farm all day 😂 Also, look out for free range children! #husky#huskies#wolf#huskiesofinstagram#talkinghusky#talkingdog
Located in the small village of Killin in Scotland is the burial ground of the MacNabs. The MacNabs are a Scottish highland clan, one of many clans in Scotland, that once ruled this part of Scotland. The burial ground is located on an island called Inchbuie, originally an Iron Age fortress, with the River Dochart running past it on each side. The burial grounds are only open to clan members and family members who still get buried within the grounds. The entrance can be viewed from the road bridge leading into Killin that crosses the river. Pictures taken in 2016.
We have three great classes on this Saturday, make a half apron, a pair of mittens or a vinyl bag. Make them all and that's some Christmas presents sorted 🎁🎁🎄🎄 Book on the website or pop into the shop.
