🍁💫🧡🍂 Autumnlicious :)
It snowed all night last night and remained on the ground all day. I was unable to take any photographs, as it was too windy today. I’m glad I have a handful of autumn-color snapshots, as all of the tree branches are bare.
Almost was in a panic this evening after I got home! I went out to feed, and started with the goats and chickens like I always do. When I went to check the rabbits, they didn’t come out of their house like they usually do. I peeked in and they were GONE! I looked around on the other side and one of the doors to the hutch hadn’t been locked. I must have forgotten to lock it back yesterday after I had cleaned the hutch. 🤦🏻♀️ Rocky, my spotted Lop, was in the edge of the woods right behind the hutch. I got him and returned him safely to the hutch. I was thinking there was no way I’d find the other. I was certain the dogs or something else probably found him first. I walked the wood line and went in one of the openings and just a little ways in, there he was! Just in time too, because it was almost dark! Thankful I found them both safe.... they were just a little wet! 😂 They are safe back in their home now, and I made sure they were locked in this time! 🔒
What I felt when entered forest in Azores for the 1st time? In the midst of ferns and moss-covered fir trees I felt that in a minute I would hear high-pitched call of pterodactyl and would certainly notice a small chewing head of a long-necked dinosaur above the trees if I turn around. P.S. Good morning and have a nice week!
