In honor of “No Excuse November,” I am writing this post! You have to realize that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US has a choice: a choice to give in to excuses or a choice to triumph over them and get your goals DONE ✅ yes, everyone is different and has different strengths and weaknesses...but if there are areas in which you wish to improve yourself in (such as your health and fitness), you are CAPABLE of going after it! The only person who stands in your way is YOU: allowing FEAR, DOUBT, NO TIME, NO MONEY...the list goes on and on...but if you choose to PRIORITIZE that goal over other things that you may be hiding under and if you choose to have the WILLPOWER to get you through the tough things that achievement requires, then you have nothing to worry about! .
Let me tell you a story...I was probably in the best shape of my life while I was in college...in my early twenties and dancing 4-6 hours each week day and sometimes rehearsals and shows on the weekends. And then something happened right before I graduated...I found out that I had a hairline fracture in one of my metatarsals and that it wasn’t going to heal quickly. So what did I do? What choice did I make? At that time a made a POOR CHOICE. I let myself feel depressed. I let myself eat more than I should have. I chose to not really go after my fitness in ways that I could have even though I was disabled to a certain extent. And I am telling you this because I don’t want you to make the same mistake I made. Once I was completely healed, it took me about an entire year to feel like my normal self again. But I did eventually get there and it felt so amazing! I then vowed to myself that I would never allow myself to get back to that point, discounting any major illness or injury that might occur. .

Après une semaine épuisante, j’ai décidé de m’offrir un week-end à ne rien faire à part : ralentir. Alors on a organisé un brunch entre amis, on s’est baladés un peu en ville, et puis pour le reste, j’ai lu, et regardé des séries. Pas de photo, pas d’écriture, pas de contraintes, rien. Ça fait du bien, de ralentir, de temps en temps.
