Fu**ing Liar!!! 😡
Why, just why are you hiding the truth. Who do you want to impress with your lies or from whom are you hiding what you really do? Why is it so "bad" to just say what you are doing? 🤨
Talking to @fit_he1 today showed me once again that instagram is so often flooded with lies and ppl just not telling the complete truth! So many bodybuilders take roids, say they do a "fulldayofeating" but eat like a mouse but look like hulk... i mean why? Just tell you take roids, you eat Not that less... today so many do it.... its kinda sad we still live in this "world of liars"... some lies may be ok if they really destroy someones life but not in case of sth you could harm others since they get the wrong ideal from your told lie!!!! 🤮
STOP AND READ 🚨 Attention Athlete and fitness lifestyle folks, READ MY cousin @cindyb143 story and show some love. This is scary and crazy. Any input you guys may have, please share. Thank you 🚨
... am posting this because when I was first diagnosed with #rhabdo , I searched the hashtag on IG and seeing so many more "experienced" gym people go through this, it made me feel better. I am hoping to add another story that someone can read that will make them feel less alone, because, more than likely, they will not have ever heard of it before...like me.
So, a couple people at my gym might know me as being a pusher. I like pushing myself to get stronger and I like to see others push themselves, too! But I'm pretty good at listening to my body because if I hurt myself and couldn't workout, then I would be super pissed. This is why getting #rhabdo came as such a shock. I did a heavy upperbody workout last Monday, nothing crazy. I've been working out for years so when my bicep was sore and swollen afterwards, I wasn't too concerned. I continued to workout the rest of the week like normal. The soreness went away and I felt like I was on the mend. I was still a little swollen, but I felt like I was back to business as usual! Then, Saturday night my right arm swole up like a sausage and continued to stay swollen. Monday morning the swelling traveled to my hand so I decided to go to the doctor. I had briefly read about #rhabdomyolysis , but I thought that that was impossible, so I didn't continue to research it. Then the doctor said, "Sounds like rhabdo." Bloodwork came back....my CK levels were at 9,075. Normal should be below 100. After a couple of bags of IV fluid, my next blood test came back at 6,000-so luckily I started trending downward pretty quickly. I stayed the night and left the next morning with my levels at 3,000. Still elevated, obviously, but my kidneys aren't in danger anymore. CK is a protein that torn/dead muscle cells release. Your kidneys can not process these proteins and if they stay elevated too long they will work too hard to filter and your kidneys can begin to fail.
This post is not meant to scare because it's pretty rare.
🏃♂️Hectic Work Life? Flexible Dieting is Your Answer To Get Into Shape🏃♂️
If you’re a busy working professional then eating out and being on the go is a way of life
I’m constantly on the go myself but I understand the importance of looking and feeling my best so I’m sure not to eat food that slows me down or gain body fat
I do that by using Flexible Dieting
So you’re probably asking yourself what’s Flexible Dieting???
It’s a way of eating where you eat balanced portions with an emphasis on protein
This allows you to enjoy those foods you love while still looking and feeling your best
Steps To Order a Successful Meal:
Palm Sized Lean Protein (Fish, Chicken, Lean Beef, Pork)
Fist Sized Greens (Broccoli, Green Beans, Asparagus)
Fist Sized Grain (Rice, Pasta, Potatoes)
Want a beer?
Substitute the fist sized grain for your favorite brew
How bout dessert?
Switch out the greens and grain for a slice of triple chocolate cake
Just because everything else in your life is rigid and set in stone doesn’t mean that your nutrition has to be
Gimmme allll the back gains😜
Training back & biceps are my favorite muscle groups to train (followed by chest/shoulders/tris, of course). There’s something super amazing about the progress that can be made in back muscles, I just can’t get enough of itttt! I guess I’m addicted to the process 🌟💪🏼
What’s your favorite muscle group to train?
❌ WARM UP YOUR BUNS ❌
There may be differences of opinion on this BUT for me personally activating my glutes with a booty band before a leg day has made an impact to my results. Warming up the muscles and engaging them correctly before applying weighted exercises will a) enhance your mind to muscle connection and b) prevent a possible injury.
The exercises here are my ‘go to’ for activation. I tend to do 4 exercises with no rest in between and for 2 sets. And the BURN IS REAL 🔥
If you workout from home, you could do all of these exercises with no rest for 4 sets and you’ll be surprised how effective it is. I’m not saying resistance band workouts will build muscle but they work up a damn good sweat and pump 💪🏻
DO YOU ACTIVATE YOUR GLUTES? What’s your thoughts?
