The way the water keeps flowing reminds me that life doesn’t stop, but it’s important to take a moment to reflect and enjoy the little things.” (Photo by: @lizlig)

Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Went here two years ago and although it’s changed with more tourist things, it’s still beautiful today 🙏🏼
When you visit places like this, please leave the environment as you found it. Be mindful of the plants, animals, your surroundings, and the locals that work hard to preserve this place. 🌱
The earth is alive and is home to more than just us. 💕🌏
I was like “Did they think of the 🐢🌊 sea turtles or nah?!”
Surely they’ll recycle ♻️ them, but even so.
If you like straws, like I like straws, consider getting reusable straws. 🤷🏻♀️ I bought some gold ✨ metal straws to keep at home and work after seeing the video of the sea turtle with a straw stuck in its nose. They had to use pliers 😖😭 to pull it out!
Go on, just think about it.💡 You’re welcome. 😁
Our one and only #earth is crying for us to take better care of her and each other. With all of the natural disasters happening, abuse, addiction, normalized shootings, outlandish politics, and just overall pain of this current state of world....one word comes to me....fear.
One word can replace that fear...#love 💕💖✨
Little by little if we all start to show more love, let in more love, be more love, and show ourselves more love (that first).... we can all live more #harmoniously and at #peace . 🥰💖🌍✨
Imagine accepting people and their individual path, choices + decisions, while focusing on loving yourself first...and your path + your individual choices and decisions. 💭✨

If you are fortunate enough to be safe from the fires, please help those people and animals who are not. EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING! We love the beautiful homes along the coastline. Now they are being destroyed. We love to hike in the mountains and forests- they are burning to ash. We love living with the California wildlife. They are dying of hunger, thirst, smoke inhalation and burn wounds.
This is a huge wake up call, folks. We cannot continue on " business as usual "! We can't just keep posting pretty pictures of ourselves and ignore the mass mass suffering and devastation right next to us.This is our city. These are our friends and co workers and family. We have to help each other. Or we have descended lower than the Roman Coloseum spectators, who watched people fight to the death for pleasure.
Please call 818 889 1989 to donate 1 large bag of food pellets for wildlife who have lost everything. They will charge you $18 on a credit card. If you can't afford a full bag then split the cost with a friend or 2. There are people who will distribute the food. EVERYONE Please put out buckets of water for the animals. Put out dry cat food for squirrels, raccoons and possums. Old bananas are good too. Even if you live nowhere near the fires, put out food and water. The surviving animals have to move into new territory, which has a domino effect and pushes everyone else even further. If your home was burning, you would hope and pray people would give a shit enough to help you. So please please be that person for them now. If we can't show up for each other now, then when?
Thank you and bless you all.
I used to feel like taking time to go inwards to connect to myself or to connect to source was self-indulgent. I knew I needed it, but it felt like I was just serving myself when I did it… this definitely created some internal tension as it’s really important to me to be of service to others. ⠀
As I have been experiencing (along with all of you) the increasing chaos of the world, it’s my internal practices that I lean on, the time I have spent building up an inner sense of stability feels like it saves me in the moments I see/hear/feel something that is happening that is disturbing or cruel. Not in a way where I ignore it or turn away from it, but in a way that I can allow myself to feel it in bits and pieces and let it move through my system so I can continue on with my work, with my relationships, with life. ⠀
I see so many sensitive souls who shut down when the things on the outside feel like too much or they are so over-saturated with the external that their day to day lives and relationships become overwhelming. ⠀
We are not a culture that is taught to feel… this is a deeply feminine quality (however you identify)… it’s yin by nature, it’s soft and internal and it’s sadly not valued in our society at large… however it’s the only balance that keeps me going. It’s like a lifeline when everything on the outside feels distorted. ⠀
I share this because I think it’s easy to hide that part of ourselves because we don’t want to feel pain …. but feeling through the pain is part of healing. It does work and there is possibility for hope, faith and joy on the other side. remember that when things get challenging. Sending lots of love <3
THEY TOLD ME I'D BE DEAD.. TO BE HONEST I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM, BUT SHE TELLS ME I EXIST.. SO FOR THIS, I DECLARE TO KEEP MY LOVE ALIVE AT ALL TIMES, IF NOT FOR HER, FOR ME #GODBLESS#MOTHEREARTH#LAKHOTA

She speaks to me in sounds
I feel her flood through me, brushing over my skin, my cells awaken, receptive
Her coolness awakens my every sense
Always held in her swaying arms
Such as a hummingbird, it is soon time for me to travel a great distance. Everytime a hummingbird shows up in my life, I start to feel excited, as this tiny, beautiful bird symbolizes joy, sweetness, flexibility, optimism, love and lightness on the path one is walking. Exactly a year back at Inanitah Nicaragua, I spent a great deal of time just watching these birds flying around and healing something inside me.. And today, this hummingbird flew home with me to decorate my art and bring me joy. Am excited and ready for the next adventure ❤🌎 #hummingbird#spiritanimal#joy#travel#art#macrame#spiritualawakening#spiritual#healing#meditation#motherearth#adventure#adventuretime
The Three Sisters story
‘The Three Sisters is the Blue Mountains most spectacular landmark, located at Echo Point Katoomba. The Three Sisters is essentially an unusual rock formation representing three sisters who according to Aboriginal legend were turned to stone. Each of the Three Sisters stand at 922, 918 & 906 metres tall, respectively. That's over 3000 feet above sea level! The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo' lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. These beautiful young ladies had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle. As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor from the Katoomba tribe took it upon himself to turn the three sisters into stone to protect them from any harm. While he had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, the witchdoctor himself was killed. As only he could reverse the spell to return the ladies to their former beauty, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come.’

It’s a wonderful thing when you can find joy in the simple things life provides. Especially within nature. Nature provides so much for us as humans but all we seem to do is take, instead of giving back to the ONE thing that keeps us alive, we take and take without thinking of the consequences. Change begins with you. Be the change that you’d like to see on Earth. 🤙🏼 #nature#motherearth#staystoked#succulents#openmindopenheart

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY 🐬
I went kayaking with dolphins the other day. Pretty amazing! And it made me think about the ocean and this precious world down there, full of life, which is part of our beautiful earth 🌏
Unfortunately this marine world is not what is has been. The ocean is suffering because of plastic overload and garbage. So many marine species are affected. So much life, so much beauty, so many colors. I guess you’ve all seen videos and pictures of the whales with stomachs full of indigestible trash 👎
Plastic pollution is a global problem and requires global action. Beaches are closing down for rehabilitation. Supermarkets stop using plastic bags and introduce paper bags instead. Bars start serving cocktails without straws. Volunteers pick up trash at beaches and waterways. We can all do something about the plastic pollution 😘
So... on this thoughtful Thursday, is there anything, you can do to eliminate plastic waste or inspire your local supermarket or cafe to do so? Eg:
- ask for paper bags in your supermarket
- bring your own to go cup (you can get a cute one like my Wandering Yoga Bear 🐻)
- say no to straws and ask your pub/bar/cafe to consider not using straws at all because it would be damn cool so save some corals and dolphins 🐬
- pick up trash from the streets. One piece of trash is better than none ❤️
- buy less things made of plastic 🌱
- see the beauty in cardboard boxes 📦 instead of using plastic bottles. Even frozen berries comes in cardboard boxes. And laundry detergent. And raisins. Aaaand so on ☘️
The list is long. And I know it takes time to change. And effort. And willingness. And nobody is perfect. So one step at a time 🐾
The future generations deserve a chance to explore the colorful world and life of the ocean 🌊 And the ocean deserve to survive 🙏
