Can I just be honest and say the last few weeks have been a struggle? Inching into waking up long before dawn, feeling like this is so not it for me, wondering what to do next. Sometimes life is like that. Change is hard, and choosing not to settle is harder. But what’s there to do? Keep on keeping on, I suppose. xo 💕
So far, learning photography is fun, exciting, uncomfortable, time consuming, and frustrating!
The best advice I can give to anyone learning a new art is don’t take yourself too seriously. Also, fail passionately.
Most of the time my ideas for “totally rad” photos crash and burn, but once in a blue moon I’m able to capture a moment in a way I think is beautiful.

👩👦👦FROM SINGLE MUM TO ONLINE ENTREPRENEUR 👩👧👦 Recently I separated from my husband and I was really concerned how I would be able to support my young family.
Having to raise 3 young kids 80% of the time alone. 👩👦👦 I was working long hours in admin and then having to come home to cook dinner, cleaning, bath time.... You know the drill. 😭
I was really worried I would completely burn out. 🤒
Even though I was a single mum, I still wanted to give my children the best life possible, but how is this even achievable as a single parent?
HOWEVER...... 🚨What happened next was the turning point of my life!🚨 I attended an online class.
At first I was skeptical as we all are, because there's a lot of garbage going around on the internet!
But I soon realized that skepticism got no one anywhere and what have I got to lose? ....🤷♂️ I discovered that this business was attractively unique - I felt that it had a great community feel about it 💖
So I inquired and found out that I only needed 4 simple things. ➡️A laptop . . . 💻 ➡️A Smartphone . . . 📱 ➡️An Internet Connection . . . 📡 ➡️The WILL to SUCCEED ➡️(common sense) 🤦♂️ Side note: No experience necessary which was perfect!👌 👌 After finding out all the info, I knew that I couldn't allow this opportunity to just go by... I enjoy working on the business as I please and now I'm able to do the things that I love doing!😀 BUT! MOST IMPORTANTLY... Helping others do the same. . . That's the best bit. . . It's such a riveting feeling to be able to turn someone else's life around.
My biggest fear was seeing this opportunity and not recognizing where it's success could've taken me. 😬
So that's my story! 📜 👇

Chemex anyone? ☕️ Back in the day, when all my friends were at college, I was making music and working at this cute little coffee shop in Roswell. I fell in love with the slow, specific art of making good coffee, and the community that gathered around it every day. It’s been a while since I was serving up lattes and pour overs from behind the counter, but I still think of that season as such a highlight in my life. I’ve always dreamed about opening up my own shop, but until then I’ll be brewing over here in our little treehouse! 🤓 👍🏻
Почти Париж🗼, только роднее💜
Говорят, где родился, там и пригодился. А мне всегда казалось, что это не так. Просто не понимаю, как сидеть на месте, когда вокруг целый огромный мир🌍
А вы родились и живете в одном городе?
guinness storehouse | back when being a cooper (making these barrels) was a thing, it took longer to be trained to make them than it did to become a physician. the craftsmanship was impressive - seven years of training.
I've been so immersed with my climbing lately that I've forgotten my roots. Backpacking gave me a reason to get my shit together and pursue something that didn't fade out after the weekends. I was a late bloomer to outdoor adventure, but cannonballed into it after I discovered it. From long distance backpacking to training for mountaineering style climbing, my future has been constructed with optimism and adventure. With health and wellness Nature, as always, will overcome any mistake, let's be thankful for that. Also, thankful for @sarafromseed for this great capture.
Serendipity, a word I would not really choose describe my life. Lately though, it’s been the perfect word. From finding new adventures & new friends by chance. Yes, I’d say serendipitous is the perfect word to describe how I’m feeling. I’m so thankful for everyone & everything that’s happened to me this past year up to last week. It has just been a domino effect of great things after another that I never saw coming. My friends, you know who you are, you make me feel like I’m on top of the world.

In contrast to revenge, which is the natural, automatic reaction to transgression and which, because of the irreversibility of the action process can be expected and even calculated, the act of forgiving can never be predicted; it is the only reaction that acts in an unexpected way and thus retains, though being a reaction, something of the original character of action. (Quote by - Hannah Arendt)
🍰 / 🍴 | 🍫 | 🍚 / ⟹🍦 | "This dim coolness of my room was to the broad daylight of the street what the shadow is to the sunbeam, that is to say equally luminous, and presented to my imagination the entire panorama of summer, which my senses, if I had been out walking, could have tasted and enjoyed only piecemeal; and so it was quite in harmony with my state of repose which (thanks to the enlivening adventures related in my books) sustained, like a hand reposing motionless in a stream of running water, the shock and animation of a torrent of activity." ~~ Marcel Proust
It had always puzzled me when I saw a lot of golden temples and pagodas when I stepped foot in Thailand. It was also my first time out of the country.
I always thought that Buddha renounced all his luxury and led a life with very few earthly possessions.
As it turns out, a type of dirty yellow brown was the original color of Buddhism. But as time passed, the lay people associated it with gold and honored Buddha by supporting the gilding of temples or statues of the Buddha.
It is not uncommon to see in Thailand and Myanmar, statues of Buddha shimmering in gold leaf, which are offered and applied by the devotees.
These days though, when gold is getting more expensive, gold colored lacquer is more commonly used lending the quote true "All that glitters is not gold".
