For Friday night we have a little more challenging than usual bodyweight circuit for some of our more advanced trainees that might be “equipment-strapped.”
When most people consider bodyweight training, they usually assume that this concept is interchangeable with “easy” training. This is far from the truth. To be honest, I’d rather load a squat with 600 lbs and attempt-controlled negatives or do German Volume Training every workout for 3 months (10 sets x 10 reps) than some bodyweight exercises out there. They can prove overwhelmingly challenging and often require incredibly high levels of balance, strength, mobility and patience. Luckily, we didn’t choose any exercises that were “over the top” for today’s circuit!
The four exercises are:
Decline Push Ups.
Rear-Foot Elevated Split Squats.
The protocol? Simple.
20 reps per exercise, per set. 100 total reps of each exercise in as short a time frame as possible.
With the split squats & Cossack squats, 20 reps per leg, to be clear!
That means your goal is to rotate through this circuit 5 X in a row in under 10 minutes.
Make sure you complete EVERY SINGLE REP of an exercise before moving on to the exercise that follows.

Belief is irresistible...
Once you believe to the core of your being that there is no one, no one better suited to building the life of your dreams than you...then suddenly safety becomes the least safe thing you can do...
This photo is far from perfect but my little Miss B took it and I love it. Snuggles on the run with my man while trying to get pics of this gorgeous pup and Bozo just beginning a better life. This was just after Bozo had come into our care and its mind blowing to see how far he has come in such a short time. All credit to @beth_dog_lady and her beautiful family for doing the hard yards and giving this gorgeous boy a chance, even more so because he was broken ❤❤
I went through our #2017 files to study over 2000 images from our recent campaigns. Looking for things we didn't get to communicate and emotions that we left out. This time around I just want to make sure I can nail everything.
I don't agree with remaking things from the past, pulling from earlier trends or having any references other than the stories in the Bible. I believe that once something has already been done, you should let it inspire you to do something that compliments it. l couldn't see myself not doing this all by faith and integrity. I absolutely love not having a blueprint, just an opportunity and my intuition. I get to challenge how we see things and how we see God.
I'm playing to be positioned in the conversations that's going to be had 100 years from now.
We're born to do more than just go to work, pay bills, and die. ♻️ Go see the world! ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Repeating that cycle is not living, that's being a zombie just aimlessly going through each day with no thrills or anything to look forward to. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
That's working 5 days a week, counting down for 2 days on the weekend to catch up on cleaning, cooking, and errands. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Life isn't supposed to be boring or easy, and you're not meant to wake up dreading each day. It's supposed to be filled with highs and lows. Life is supposed to challenge you and make you stronger because those lows only make the highs better. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Failure is inevitable but If you stop trying to get up because it seems too hard or inconceivable, then you'll never get up. Only if you keep trying will you have a chance to better your life! So dont give up, your life wasn't meant to be boring!
