Folktale Week Day 3 - Witch
From the Seneca legend, "The Forbidden Arrow and the Quilt of Men's Eyes" (I highly recommend this tale of two brothers and their amazing adventure!): "Now again the brother spoke and said, 'There is yet one more danger and it is the last. It may be fatal. A company of women is making a quilt of young men's eyes. They gouge out the eyes of young men and sew them into a blanket. Now the eyes live and wink as in life for the skin of the eyelids are with the eyes. Now we must pass through their lodge and if we can do so without looking at the awful quilt we will be safe then.'... ... They were about to emerge from the door at the back when one woman held the quilt before the eyes of the Younger. She held it where he saw it. Then Younger saw no more. He was blind and had no eyes in his eye sockets; they had jumped out and into the quilt."

#Elantris ! I really loved the chapter set up that takes you most the way through this book. It is unique and engaging and truely one of my favorite writing approaches to date. Thank you #BrandonSanderson ! (Oh, and cool seeing you in Washington this weekend too! @brandsanderson )
I’m an old school kind of woman ☺️ I definitely prefer my notebook than any other digital app or platform for work management :) Besides, since my boyfriend brought this one for me, I decided I’ll use it for business and administration stuff only on the left pages, and for illustration and practice on the left ones 🌿 I think that’s a pretty good example of balance in life 😂🙌🏽
