Puesta del sol en la bahía
After a hard 4 days it was great to relax in the beautiful fishing village of Taganga. For anyone needing a break I can't recommend Taganga enough, the Carribbean waters are beautiful and warm and the locals friendly and full of life. Taganga is still a little unknown.
It's not a well developed village, it's very basic but has everything you need to relax in the sun and it's packed full of charm and character. Plus, it has the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen.
As you can see the skies are a breathtaking mis of red, blue and purple. No editing on these, that's actually how it looks!
Here is a doggo. He is a happy doggo. He is a good boy. He is a very cute doggo.
Unfortunately he’s not my dog, he’s a random one that I met from a pair of girls that I was talking to. But I wish he was mine. And since he made me so happy, I’ve decided to use him as my blog photo today!
It’s Sunday which means cheap museum day in Munich! Almost every museum goes down to €1 so it’s easy to see a lot.
Along the way I got to also see some extremely beautiful churches. While I may not be a spiritual person, I can appreciate the incredible architecture and art.
Once I eat a thing or two from my favourite local bakery, I took a walk to English Garden- which is basically a huge beach! I’ve been to Munich twice now and never even knew it was here. It basically runs all along the Isar river and has a series of beaches (some regular, and some “clothing optional.” I’ll promise you that I didn’t choose the latter) There’s also a very small island in this water called “Prater island” so obviously I had to see it! It is mine after all... In case your wondering, this is where I met the dog and played many rounds of fetch. God I miss animals, especially mine!
After that, I took in some local busking shows in Marienplatz. I have been travelling with a new friend I made, who is a street magician, and have been working on some neat stuff ;) Overall I had a wonderful day, walked more than I think I ever had in my life, and got my feet in the river. What more can a girl ask for?
Laughter is the same in every language.
Life on the road can be stressful. Sleeping in 8 person dorm beds and on busses can be annoying. Plans often change. But perhaps the most frustrating part is not being able to communicate with the locals effectively. I'm grateful that no matter where I travel a smile is usually returned with a smile. And laughter is always contagious.
tropical state of mind.
WE LOVE ANYTHING WITH A TROPICAL VIBE, BOLD COLOURS AND BRIGHT PRINTS, THEY ARE SURE TO BRIGHTEN UP ANY DULL DAY.
Think pineapples, palm trees and juicy vibrant colours, everything to get you in the mood for summer.
