Hope you all had a good weekend! Here is an image from a recent backpacking trip, my first time in the eastern sierras. We were above 10K feet in elevation for three nights, and this shot is from lake 5 near Mt. Langley. Such an amazing spot, the reflection was on point that night
This is a composite image made using @Lightroom, @Photoshop & Nik software. All images taken by myself
Happy Monday! I am trying to get out more to shoot the stars even though Milkyway Season is over. Here is one of my first star shots with my Sony at Zion’s court if the patriarchs.
Whenever I am out shooting in the dark by myself I get a little nervous (how can I be afraid of the dark at my age?) in this case I was sitting almost in the river in the dark for a couple hours feeling all alone, nervous, and scared, thinking I was the only one out there in the middle of the wilderness. Once I started walking back to the car, I got to the road (which was not very far) and there was a huge construction crew doing road construction. Boy did I feel silly for thinking I was alone! What’s something you have done lately which took you outside your comfort zone?
