Day 5 of #capturesantosha -> sukhasana in my favorite spot, which has been this room in my house. I love doing yoga in here, and I’m grateful that my parents let me move out some stuff so it’s more open. It’s cool for me to think of the different places I’ve brought this pose & meditation... such a beautiful thing to have to fall back on in all walks of life. 🙏

I’ve immersed myself in nature, spent time with my best friend, done acro yoga, watched sunsets, meditated, pedicures... Like I said, all the things! This process of self love, reflection and caring for myself has helped me get so clear on what I want in certain areas and which areas still need love and attention.
My heart is healing and my roots are grounding. I am grateful to have returned to San Diego earlier than expected, (Seattle is real cold guys lol) and I’m ecstatic to be receiving my reiki level 1 attunement tomorrow from the amazing @yogaliv 💗

I stand here, unsteady - lingering between #uncertainty and stability. A #time when everything feels so transient and vague - so out of reach. Constantly searching for a way to plant myself - to establish roots - but always feeling out of place and unsettled. Searching for #identity in the things I do and the places I am has proved useless. For in times where things have felt so up in the air, I’ve felt so lost and confused - mirroring the moment in time that I inhabited. Clinging to the other as a means of making sense of #myself , but slowly realizing that reliance on someone else or something else will only get me so far. Searching for #meaning within is now what I seek - hoping to finally feel #grounded at a time when I feel so unraveled.
This is Frankie, and she is my best friend. Getting her is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
She helps me stay grounded, accountable to something other than myself, be playful, and have patience.
She is also super mischievous and friendly.

Super easy way cook vegetables and A LOT of them. 🤓 FUN FACT: slow cooking does not destroy more nutrients, but instead the lower temps. may help to preserve nutrients. Cooking food rapidly at a high heat can cause the vegetables to lose nutrients. 3 hours, high, reduce to low if needed. • 2 thicc sweet potatoes 🍠 • 4-5 celery sticks • broccoli-friggen eyeballed it🥦
• heaping tbsp garlic • tbsp oregano, 1/2 tsp cayenne • 2 cups H2O + 1/4 olive oil (spill a little extra if you’re risky 👀) • 2 fat carrot sticks 🥕 • 2 med. sized onions (dare you not to cry😭) • 1 zucchini on steroids (not actually don’t be a ZUCHWEENIE)
