Okay! 😊 What do y’all think? This is my 1st monster mud reaper! 🖤 He is 7.5ft tall! I had so much fun making this! Thank you to my family & friends that support my Halloween addiction all year round! 💀👍🏼 #reaper#halloweenislife#graveyard#haunters
When my grandparents passed away, I realized I didn’t know them that well. I realized that I never knew their personalities; their passions and flaws. I cried over the idea of loss, and it was truly felt, but they were my family and I knew them as acquaintances. I regret not pursuing our relationships further, while they were alive.
''Dans mes années peu nombreuses, mais agitées, quelques moments m'ont appartenu, tantôt à demi obscurcis par des nuages de larmes, tantôt éclairés de rayons divins ! Quel que soit le sort que me prépare l'avenir, mon âme, enivrée du passé s'attache avec amour à une idée unique. Amitié ! cette pensée, elle est à toi tout entière ; elle vaut à elle seule un monde de félicité : l'Amitié est l'Amour sans ailes. '' Byron
The Comeback is always GREATER than the SETBACK…
Every single one of us has experienced setbacks in our lifetime. From falling in love to breaking up, from getting a job to losing a job, from having children and then experiencing an empty nest. These circumstances turn our world upside down, inside out and out of balance. These are the characteristics of a radical shift!
At the time, we may experience or feel as if everything is falling apart, we have no control and we are losing everyone and everything. Often times, the only way to really learn is through experience. Here are some ways you can stage your comeback after a setback.
1.Accept what you cannot control.
The first step in staging a comeback after a setback is to accept what you cannot control. For example, I cannot control Mother Nature so I had to accept that there was a hurricane heading my way. I also couldn't control when I got power and internet back so that I could get back to business. In both these instances, there was absolutely nothing I could do. Rather than struggling and getting stressed, I had to accept it. By letting it go, I was able to get some much-needed rest guilt-free.
2. Focus on the things you can control.
After you accept what you cannot control, you can focus on the things you can.
3. Look for the lessons.
The final step in coming back stronger after a setback is to look for the lessons. It's so easy for us to get overly emotional when we experience a setback. While it's important to feel our disappointment, there's a difference between feeling our feelings and wallowing.
Setbacks don't have to keep you from experiencing success. They are simply a part of the ride in business and in life. By using these tips, you can come back from a setback stronger than ever before. Artist cred: @chrystelle_f_ ·
