Who am I? What do I truly want? .
Does anyone else ask these questions? .
These questions I ponder often and the answers change regularly. I feel that this is ‘wrong’ like i should know who I am and what I want. As I sit in a tiny apartment in Paris, these questions come in and certain gentleness comes with it... a gentleness that these questions might not be that important. That they might be societal and not needed to be answered. The answers might not exist. We all might be illusioned that we need to be something or want something in order to have peace about life. .
Maybe peace comes from feeling your breath and looking around and seeing beauty in this moment. .
Maybe that’s the meaning of life and who I am. This. And this. And this. It’s that simple and that complicated ❤️

It used to be a canal. Then it was transformed as part of the ABC Programme.
While we do not live right next to the park, we are near enough to it that we get to enjoy it. But it was AWFUL while they were hacking out the concrete to convert it into a lush green space. That was also when we had one of our worst outbreaks of eczema which I have often attributed to the concrete dust stirred up by the project. That and the lift upgrading programme. Double whammy.
But now, it is beautiful. And every time I walk or jog in the park, I am amazed at man’s creativity and ingenuity. I am grateful to have such a lovely place to exercise in. Having tea with a dear friend of mine 🙏 while Elvin is playing next to us. Feeling grateful for soul-friends 🌟 My relationships have changed a lot since getting pregnant with Elvin. I used to have about two handful of close friends. But lots have happened. I'm more selective about who I want in our lives and life has made the choice for me as well and therefore bonds have been broken between and some people. But all is good. So grateful that I am able to workout every day. Yes, I rest at least once a week (sometimes more since being at certain weddings and events takes everything I got and I sometimes sweat more than a do in a regular workout). The reason why I say I am grateful is because although I have had all sorts of various ailments from accidents and injuries and being in my 40’s 🤷🏻♀️...I can still bust out a 30-60 minute workout and set my intentions and goals for each day - every morning. There were several times in my life where I could not/would not workout...so yes I am very grateful! If you are able to workout and you are not ...you are only hurting yourself. Yep! You can do this too! I am usually up until 12 or 1am working on email and then I get up at 6:30-7 depending on the day and take at least an hour for taking care of me. Only you can take care of yourself. If you are ready to get yourself back on track before the holidays derail your intentions even more...let me know! I am looking for 2-5 people to join our next group which is all about being grateful and learning how to take care of you with nutrition and exercise! I don’t diet...I eat what I know will make me feel good and strong and treat myself when I want! The point is - I can help you get back in control of your body! A LETTER TO MY SON
I just want to let you know that you’ve inspired me. As I sit here typing this letter to you, while you are asleep in my arms, I want you to know that you’ve brought to my attention the beauty and love in creation.
From the moment you was born my perceptiion on life changed. I walk down the streets and notice the fine detail and beauty that is around us. From the blosseming flower, to the singing of the bird’s everything has flooded into my awareness.
Because of you.
I want you to remember as you grow up that the moment you and everyone on earth was born, everyone was born pure LOVE. You continue amaze me by the way you can be so still but draw the attention of anyone who crosses your path, by the way you will look into the eyes of others with purity and without judgement, by the way you will look around the earth and see it in it’s true beauty.
See the thing is bud is that every single one of us in the world was born exactly the same way… Wired to LOVE.
But as you grow, as you’re challenged and as you experience life, you will soon start to learn FEAR. You will start to adjust to life and question why people do and say certain things, you will loose faith in others as they break your heart or break your trust.
But I want you to remember this… every single one of us is WIRED TO LOVE! So when you start to question, when you start to doubt, when you question loosing faith. See the beauty in creation, See the beauty in everyone. Block out the fear as it’s not the identity of ones true self is.

We are starting to twist today and I am showing you Ardha Matsyendrasa or Half Lord of the Fishes Pose.
It is a very crucial pose of the Ashtanga Intermediate Series.
It is GREAT for the spine, and suitable for most levels.
It comes after the intense backbends of the second series, such as kapotasana. I always love some twisting BEFORE AND AFTER deep backbends. This twist is wonderful as you are seated, and the bending of the legs allows for deeper twisting and lengthening in the spine.
It is great for the release of back pains, digestion problems, open the shoulders, release tension, and even for learning how to breathe deeper in restricted situations – great for asthmatics.
👉Make sure to practice with a tall spine. You can use your inhales for lengthening the spine, and your exhales to deepen the twist. Straighten your bottom leg if it is hard on the knee, and keep a soft face!
👉 A tip for intense twists
Learn how to mentaly “divide” your spine:
Lower back and thoracic.
The twisting starts with the lumbar area - but that area has a smaller range of movement!!!
You need to learn and win space in the thoracic to intensify the twists
👉 Do one side. Come back. Breath deeply.
COMPARE one side to another.
The side you just did should feel LIGHTER.
👉energy and blood flowing warming all the back and the spine
👉bandhas engagement are so important! And also “glue” the abs in!
The more engagement more room to length the spine and twist.
👉 Practice safely.
On second slide I show a variation that I love, with a bind, ( I knoowwww) which will light the Fire 🔥 of your core and abs and increase flexibility of legs!
