A Caribbean reef shark cruises over-head in Cuba. I'm still speechless at how amazing the diving was here. Some of the healthiest reefs I have ever seen in the Caribbean, along with a vast array of life. I will be running trips here in the future so if you are interested in joining me the please get in touch! @ikelite
Another Powerful Earthquake hit and Apparently there is a Tsunami headed this way into bali and I’m on the south.. Where’s my surf board? 🤷🏻♂️🙏 island life at it’s finest. We honestly just decided to dance in the rain on the flooding beach, throwing up middle fingers toward the ocean.. Waiting... 🙏☠️

Spent the last couple weeks offline for a good reason. Indonesia was the best way to finish this year full of trips all over the world! I got to see so many different islands and was blessed to find one very special spot. I will go back to explore even further next season for sure! Now it's time to enjoy the Summer in New Zealand!
Trip report on www.davidochoa.net soon.
to new things. Yes to stepping out of your comfort zone. Yes to figuring it out along the way. Your state of mind can move mountains.
The holidays are coming and it’s starting to get crazy out there! Take a breath. You’re looking pretty good from where I’m standing. Shout-out to all the awesome moms cooking and prepping their homes for the holidays. You are all rock stars!
The power of breathing! 💙
Do you remember as kid it was super cool to cross the swimming pool underwater holding your breath? Guess what, it still is! And it’s called freediving.
Freediving is all about relaxation of our body and mind. The more you have the two in a flow state, the better you perform with freediving. Panicking somewhere down at the bottom is not a good idea cause these thoughts suck energy. This costs oxygen and will give you less diving time. So freediving kind of forces you to relax. By just staying calm, chilled-out, and intensely in the moment, our body can do things that I wouldn’t thought was possible.
I’m quite chilled out by nature. But I never really realized how much you can improve your state of relaxation with breathing techniques.
Breathing is so much more than breathing. How often do you pay attention to it? In general we just do this just automatically and unconsciously, roughly 25.000 times per day. But we have so much more capacity and energy to get out of a breath if we only consider it.
Hooked with freediving I dived into this sport and navigated through the 1,2,3,4* and instructor course so I can teach you how to be safely a mermaid or merman.
Curious to dive in? To maximise your breathing potential?
I made a little resources page on my website with some tips on getting started with free diving and breathing! www.Oceanpreneur.co -> freedive
On the next sailing trips I’ll also give some Freedive workshops! Stay tuned! I’m boat hunting ⛵️😉💙 Hope to have some dates out soon for you to hop on board!
Although the moon was not able to be captured clearly on this windy coastal night, and with nothing more than the use of a steady hand and a galaxy s9 plus, it does depict a clear perspective of how I enjoy seeing the moon. Laying on your back, with head north and feet south, left arm pointing east and right arm pointing west, tilt your head to face the moon exactly how the sun shines on it ...and realise that this is one giant yet tiny organic space ship with a beating heart at its core, and 7.5 billion passengers.
