Why Nurturing yourself is important
Listen to uplifting music - in a cosy environment
Music is SO powerful. Music can take us into very relaxed situations or can make us sit on the edge of our seat in a scary movie for example.
Music is a wonderful way to start to RELAX in your safe space.
I think a lot of times people say to make " I find it really hard to shut off from my thinking brain - constant stream of thought"
Music is a brilliant way to shut off - to start relaxing. Now I'm not saying that ALL the thought will go away, BUT you can choose to tune in and really listen to the music and pay less attention to your thoughts.
But you need music that will actually relax you. There are certain pieces of music that have defiantly been extremely beautiful for me and really helped me to get into a really peaceful space.
Music can touch us in different ways.
here are 5 pieces of music that I listen to often that I really, really love.

There are so many more that I love but there are so many pieces of music from these composers that you can enjoy! My favourite instruments are piano and cello, I play piano myself.
