The best thing about travelling is making new friends. You meet amazing people while travelling that makes you see life in a different way. I found this place online for a stay in Chitkul @thewanderersnest and met amazing host Manoj Bhai, Ishwar sir and harsh (risky boy). The most friendly people I met in Chitkul. I stayed in Chitkul for next 4 days In some other property but ended up visiting @thewanderersnest and Manoj bhai every evening for soup. It was like home :)
Took an early morning ride in a newspaper van from Shimla old bus stand (Fastest and cheapest way to reach Peo from Shimla)
Was travelling with 10 co-passengers and newspapers bundles all around us.
But managed to get a front seat with 3 other people...
I was not sure if it's the best decisions until I saw this beautiful sunrise through the cracked and dirty windscreen near Kufri.
Sometimes beautiful places are right in front of us but we don't take the time to notice them.

Jahaz Mahal built during the Lodi rule around 1451- 1526 AD.
Beautiful monument however, no maintenance by the authorities.

Do you see blue tiles on top of cenotaphs?? I have never seen anything like that on any cenotaphs.
It’s an interesting piece of architecture but lack of maintenance has ruined it.

A local guy said you cannot take anything out of this sacred forest. Nothing. From leaves to fallen logs to stones, you cannot take anything out of this forest and I asked why not??
He replied you are not allowed. You will take a stone, someone will take a leaf and then someone will come and cut trees. This forest is our mother and we protect this and no one is allowed to take anything from this forest.
I felt so happy and surprised that people here they really care about the forest. not destroying it for there use. :) ••••• • •
We can also do that right?? ••••• • •
Let's take small step guys, Let's do not litter whenever we visit any beaches, mountains, forests or any water bodies.
Show some love.
Be a responsible traveller.
Do you remember your childhood?
Met this cute kiddo in upper shora. He was climbing on the slide from slide side. It was so much fun watching him climbing and sliding back.
This reminds me of my childhood. when everything from hide and seek to going for grocery shopping was an adventure. when we never had pay anything for an adventure.
I remember me and my friends riding bicycles and descending at full speed from the top of the hill and yes stopping with the help of both our feet and breaks. I remember playing pittu garam, boot bangla, cricket, french, coconut, commando -commando and many more.. I remember my childhood because of our Eagle gang 😂 :- @thefoodspirit(milo boy) @anirban_chandra_ (the crazy one) @piyush_kotiyal (gangster) @lakshaymantri (Delhi Ka launda) @sankalp912 (sharif aatma)and Prakhar, Rajat, vimkramjeet, Malhar.
Comment below games you used to play and your gang.
Ps: I asked this boy to smile.he said no uncle and tongue dheka k bhag gaya.
