I spent the majority of the day doing something that I love to do and put aside time to do every week.
Connect and engage....with people who have worked with me; with potential clients; with people who have sent me messages; with people who have liked or commented on my posts
I spoke to many of you today who are right in my facebook group- Dynamic Business Strategist!
And some things I want to encourage you to remember is that
1. You are not alone
2. Do not give up
3. Ask for help if you need it
4. Stay consistent
5. Invest in yourself
6. Trust the process
7. Enjoy the journey
8. Be patient with yourself
9. Speak positively about your biz and life like you already have everything you desire
10. You have everything in front of you to succeed
Because starting, running and maintaining a business takes WORK and once you commit to it, you cannot give up the first time things do not go your way.
Having a success mindset...speaking positively, believing that victory is yours, making the decision to do what ever it takes to get what you want...is a decision!

Day 8: we had a peaceful night falling asleep to the sounds of nature and rainfall in the forest but had to part with our jungle paradise far earlier than we wanted so that we could catch our early flight back to Trinidad. We were surprised to find coffee in Castara at Cheeno’s so early the morning, but very happy it was available. Although I didn’t get to try crab&dumplings, I was able to get my bake and saltfish...I prefer bake and shark. Of course, we hit up a doubles stand before returning our car and heading to the airport.
When we arrived in Trinidad we had doubles at the airport waiting for our rental car. And then headed to Eddie Heart Savana for yet another round of doubles and some fresh coconut water.
We visited @cocobelchocolate and got some bougey Trini chocolate made from “trinitario cocoa”. Out of all the chocolate produced in the world, only 5% is trinitario. Yes, there were free samples. Yes, I tried them all. Yea, I spent too much money on chocolate.
We took a stroll along the Savanah (this is where the magic happens during carnival) and saw the magnificent 7, a stretch of massive mansions built in the early 1900s. They were built by plantations owners and each neighbor was trying to outdo the next...Men and their egos 🙄 Only three are in use, some under construction, all are protected under the National Trust Act. In order as you walk (not the same order in the photo): Queens Royal College, Mille Fleurs, Roomor, Archbishop’s house, Whitehall, and Strollemeyer’s Castle.
We walked up and down Charlotte Street, which is apparently the placed you can find everything and anything in town. Soca and reggae were ringing out from small shops as we weaved through crowds and around fruit/vegetable stalls. Certainly not a street you’d want to walk down alone at night.
We ended our last full day with a blissful yoga class and some Trinidadian inspired Chinese food.
