It’s cold out.
I felt like garbage when I got up.
I was mad at myself for accomplishing 0% of my weekend to do list.
I could have let my day continue to flow into the direction of negative everything. I could have been grumpy and angry about things. I chose not to. I chose to get my butt out of bed, head to the gym and start my week off with a bang!
Starting off my day with friends at a super fun workout was just what I needed!!! Now I can be the person I need to be for work, and for my family. Instead of being angry I’m choosing to see the good in things.
Always remember you are the one who decides your level of happiness. Don’t let little things determine the awesomeness of your life.

It doesn't matter if it's your first week of working out since mandatory gym or if you've been exercising consistently for your entire life - we ALL have tough days.
Some days are just going to be harder than others! Maybe you got less sleep, maybe it's something you ate, maybe it's the hormones in your body at that time - it doesn't matter. What does matter is that you don't beat yourself up about it!
This morning was ROUGH, guys. I always hate cardio and it's always pretty killer for me, but this morning was particularly difficult. I had to modify the modifications. Seriously. When I went to take a cute post-workout selfie, this is what the camera caught instead.
Instead of feeling down about what I COULDN'T do this morning, I decided to celebrate what I DID do! I headed over to my fitness accountability page and I felt proud to be able to log in a workout and bring my team one step closer to meeting our goals together. It may have felt like a shitty workout for me, but I still got my workout in! When I wanted to give up, I thought about all my teammates who would log their workouts in our page today and how they would cheer me on when I logged mine.
If you're perfect at working out and you never ever have bad days - more power to you (and idk that I believe you), but you proooooobably wouldn't fit with my team. But if you want to be part of a group of women who are FAR from perfect, but are constantly encouraging each other and pushing each other forward - then I just might have the right place for you.
