Got some film rolls back from some stuff I shot early in the year before we moved.
Last time I drove by this house across from the Splash-N-Dash a couple months ago it had been demolished. Now it lives on in film emulsion and pixels.
This is the Vuk Karadzic school in the eastern Bosnian town of Bratunac. The school was used as a concentration camp during the Bosnian genocide of the 90s. Twenty three years later it resumes to serve as the only school in Bratunac. The schools new basketball court is a sign of promise. The community is unified in their desire to demand a better life.
